Studies at the Gynecological Center

Clinical studies can make a significant contribution to improving patient care and therapeutic outcomes. This is done by introducing new, innovative drugs, comparing new therapies with standard therapy or precisely documenting the course of the disease. General goals of these study projects can include reducing side effects, improving quality of life or optimizing therapeutic success. The Gynecological Cancer Center Marburg participates in numerous therapy studies for gynecological malignancies, the new therapeutic approaches of which are very promising in the treatment of ovarian, endometrial and cervical carcinomas. Such new therapies are not yet available outside of clinical studies.

We offer a large number of clinical studies and would like to offer our patients the option to be included in such studies. In our study register, you can filter all ongoing studies based on various indications or participating study centers. For general questions about clinical studies, please visit our FAQ section for patients. Further information on our study concepts is also available from our coordination office at:
