Working Group of German Tumor Centers (ADT)

The CCC Marburg has been an active member of the Working Group of German Tumor Centers (ADT) since 2004.

The ADT represents the interests of tumor centers and clinical cancer registries and supports them with the aim of further improving the quality of oncology. As a co-initiator of the National Cancer Plan and the introduction of the nationwide uniform oncological basic data set (ADT / GEKID), the ADT performs a variety of overarching tasks. With the implementation of the Cancer Early Detection and Register Act (KFRG) and the proclamation of a National Decade against Cancer by the Federal Government, important groundwork is currently being set for oncological care and cancer research, which the ADT is helping to shape in order to meet the challenges of care and modern Mastering cancer medicine.
