The Hessian Cancer Register has the task of continuously collecting and evaluating data on cancer diseases and treatments in Hesse and making them available for quality assurance and research. The basis for the collection and processing of this data is the Hessian Cancer Register Act. As part of the tumor documentation at all CCC Marburg locations, relevant parameters for reporting cancer are recorded and this information is forwarded to the Hessian cancer registry.
