MIRACUM unites ten university hospitals (including Frankfurt and Marburg), two universities and an industrial partner from seven German federal states in one of four consortia of the Medical Informatics Initiative (MI-I). The aim is to make clinical data, image data and data from molecular / genomic examinations usable for innovative research projects, both site-related and cross-site, via modular, scalable and federated data integration centers. MIRACUM has been funded by the BMBF since January 2018 in the development and networking phase of MI-I.
